چکیده

Abstract Background Inositol polyphosphate 4-phosphatase type II (INPP4B) is a negative regulator of the PI3K-Akt signalling pathway and plays contradictory role in different types cancers. However, its biological played by INPP4B human gallbladder cancer (GBC) has not been elucidated. In this study, we investigated expression, clinical significance function GBC patients cell lines. Methods The protein expression levels tissues normal were detected immunohistochemistry, was analysed. Knockdown overexpression GBC-SD SGC-996 cells followed proliferation, clonogenic, apoptosis detection, scratch wound-healing transwell assays used to identify vitro. Results up-regulated compared with related histopathological differentiation ( p = 0.026). Here, observed that highly expressed high-moderately differentiated tumours low-undifferentiated 0.022). Additionally, found associated overall survival 0.071) an independent prognostic factor. Furthermore, when stratified relationship between prognosis based on differentiation, progression depending degree differentiation. addition, knockdown inhibited colony formation, migration invasion cells, while had opposite effects vitro, which indicates as oncoprotein. Conclusions These findings suggested may play dual might act oncogene cells.

Dysregulated Expression and Sub cellular Localization of Base Excision Repair (BER) Pathway Enzymes in Gallbladder Cancer

Base excision repair (BER) pathway is one of the repair systems that have an impact on the radiotherapy and chemotherapy for the cancer patients. The molecular pathogenesis of gallbladder cancer is not known extensively. In the present study we investigated whether the expression of AP endonuclease 1 (APE1) and DNA polymerase β (DNA pol β), key enzymes of BER pathway has any clinical ...

Gallbladder cancer.

Gallbladder cancer has a reputation for being aggressive and incurable. Single institution series, however, have defined successful management strategies in which the extent of resection is based on the stage of the tumor at presentation. Careful ultrasound screening for abnormalities in the gallbladder wall, and CA19-9 serum determination prior to routine cholecystectomy may heighten awareness...

Conditional survival in patients with gallbladder cancer

BACKGROUND Conditional survival (CS) has been established as a clinically relevant prognostic factor for cancer survivors, and the CS in gallbladder (GB) cancer has not yet been fully evaluated. In this study, we evaluated the cancer-specific CS rate and cancer-specific survival (CSS) rate in patients with GB cancer at multiple time points and investigated prognostic factors which affect cancer...
